STR starrer Vaalu has also
gotten into trouble over its title and its director Vijay Chandar had
this to say about this issue to Behindwoods "Most of the small film
makers are doing this for free publicity. I registered the title, Vaalu,
four years back and I have the required proof letter. Let the team of
the other Vaalu prove that they have registered their film with the same
name. I request the Producer's Council to look into this issue, which
is happening frequently to all big films, including Thuppakki"
The other movie is question is one starring Kalloori fame Akhil and
Peraanmai fame Saranya. Deivasigamani directs this film and he is a
former assistant of Thambi Ramaiah. He also claims that he has
registered the title Vaalu long before the STR starrer kicked-off.
